Who to believe in Drug Rehab
May 1st, 2007 by Terry Keith
In a drug and alcohol rehab center the number of different concepts you will be presented will be many and varied. Some undoubtedly will make sense to you immediately. Some may never quite make sense. The rest will fall the the vast middle ground. Early in your rehab program it is best just to try and follow everything. You need to get some clarity in your thinking, as well as a normal routine back in your life.
The purpose of all these different concepts will be to restore your ability to make good decisions. It is in the middle ground ground of life where all good or bad things start. The easy decisions don't change the direction of your life. The point of drug and alcohol rehab is to give you the confidence to trust yourself again in making these choices. At the beginning trust the people you have chosen to go in drug rehab. As the process goes on there should be a transfre back to your own inner voice. It was probably always giving you good advice, but you started listening to the drugs and alcohol instead.
